These negotiations have been moving, laborious and painful for every member of the negotiating committee, be it IBEW or NECA. However, we were able to meet at the 24th hour to work out an agreement that would benefit both sides. Remember that all resentments, bad feelings, or transgressions are forgotten and forgiven. We are now moving forward together to move the industry forward, ensure more work for our IBEW members and NECA contractors, and make Los Angeles the largest union city in America. This treaty could not have been forged without the solidarity, tenacity and firm will of the members during the negotiations.

Whether it was the first proposals rejected in large numbers, to participate in phone calls or to talk about them at work, it was you, the members, who concluded this and created the best Inside Wiremen`s agreement in the history of IBEW Local 11. You should be proud of what we have accomplished together. Finally, I am eternally grateful and honored to serve your business manager. I never take for granted the responsibility and commitment that you have entrusted to me. You and your family and colleagues integrate all the decisions I make on your behalf. Remember to treat everyone with dignity and respect. Moving Local 11 Forward Rusty and we are honored by the trust you have in …. . . .
